This website is to educate the Indian electorate about what the Government is planning on doing with ICMS – the Indian Central Monitoring System. An all encompassing wide reaching system that can track every digital footprint – email, instant message, browsing history, downloads, uploads… you get it. And that too without any legal reason, warrant or cause. Failing to stop this from happening would be the largest failure by a democratic peoples.

What’s even more worrying is that we lack the basic legal infrastructure that guarantees our privacy and the security of our information and data, thus such a system could end up having wide sweeping power on intercepting any kind of communication.

This blog aims to bring together all that is happening and developing on ICMS, I hope to work with the people involved with galvanizing public civic action and opinion to prevent this from happening.
